Retailers State Fallout 4 Will be Out in 2015

It seems retailers are already posting speculated release dates for developer Bethesda’s next installment of its critically acclaimed open-world RPG, Fallout 4. Amazon, Gamestop and others are putting up release dates of December 31st, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. So it looks like it just barely squeezed in.

Over at the Bethesda store things are less set in stone with dates stating “TBA” or To Be Announced on the store’s page. Only basic information is provided and they reiterate that the debut trailer consists of all in-game assets and footage.

The last game in the Fallout series was released in 2008 which has given Bethesda seven years to work on the successor to Fallout 3 which is thought to be one of the most anticipated games poised to launch this year.

The Fallout 4 release was ever so confirmed by a stunning teaser trailer release this week by Bethesda Softworks that is only to hold fans over until more is inevitably released at E3 2015 in just over a weeks time.

The trailer seems to reveal some key details of Fallout 4 including some of the game’s main characters, and the possible setting in which it is to be played. Since Bethesda Softworks is confirmed to take the stage at E3 in Los Angeles you can expect all your questions to be answered then. This will be a big moment for the developer who is also known for creating the Elder Scrolls series of games. The press conference is set to be streamed live on June 14th at 6:30PM PST and will allow those not able to attend E3 to catch the reveal info in real time.

If you want to pre order Fallout 4 you can do so as pre orders have already gone live. But before you do be aware the Bethesda is charging credits up front. Others such as Amazon and EBGames will not but that is not the only issue to worry about when pre ordering. It seems that different resellers are charging different prices too. EBGames at this time seems to be charging $80 while most others are only charging a standard $60. GameSpot is reporting an offer from Green Man Gaming that is claiming a $46 dollar price. Which ever venue you choose just make sure you realize all the details of the transaction as they seem to be differing.
